The adventure of our lives???!!!

There are no words nor pictures that can fully describe what we have experienced during the last days. On wednesday morning we begun the trip into Taman Negara National Park in the middle of Malaysia's djungel. The trip was an adventure in itself, one hour by bus and three hours by boat up the Tembling river surrounded by the old rainforest.

After checking in at the gustehouse we went out for a short "warm-up" trekking without a guide. We walked for four hours, some of the time up in the treetops on the world's longest canopy walk.

On thursday morning the real adventure started. We had decided to go for a two days one night trekking to really get deep into the djungel. Together with six other people plus a crazy guide we trekked for about five hours on thursday, slept in a cave and trekked for five more hours today. We've been fighting leeches, spiders and insects and seen prints from tigers and elephants even though we never got to see any live ones. We've been swetting and laughing and experienced the real djungel. A once in a lifetime experience maybe???!!!
